Recovering Tech Pubs Director, structured writing/content management/single sourcing/multi-use/multipurposing fanatic, and Multi-language Content Quality Management zealot. Made it to Step 11 - and actually retired - a couple of times, but keep sliding back.
Each new technology breakthrough lures me back with renewed hopes of achieving the holy grail of cost, quality, and timeliness ... in multiple media and multiple languages. And it's finally here. Publishing technology has addressed cost and timeliness issues quite effectively over my 30-year career, but the real magic is just emerging. Recent breakthroughs in Natural Language Processing have begun to address Content Quality Management issues - across languages. And it is this technology that lured me back one more time, as General Manager of acrolinx North America, Inc, where leading-edge NLP technology is applied to make automated Content Quality Management a reality.
